I hold the Italian National Scientific Habilitation as Associate Professor. I am a member of the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/unifi.it\/florence-probability-group\/home\">Florence Probability Group<\/a>, together with <a href=\"https:\/\/cercachi.unifi.it\/p-doc2-2023-0-A-2d2b372e332f-0.html\">Luca Avena<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/people.dimai.unifi.it\/bet\/\">Gianmarco Bet<\/a>. For my official staff profile&nbsp;at the University of Florence, see&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/cercachi.unifi.it\/p-doc2-0-0-A-3f2c3729392c2a.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Previously, I was a Postdoctoral University Assistant (Universit\u00e4tsassistent) at the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuwien.at\/en\/\">Technische Universit\u00e4t Wien (TU Wien)<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/swm.tuwien.ac.at\/\">Institute of Statistics and Mathematical Methods in Economics<\/a>, in&nbsp;the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuwien.at\/en\/mg\/proba\">Probability Research Unit<\/a>&nbsp;headed by&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/sites.google.com\/view\/fabio-toninelli\/home\">Fabio Toninelli<\/a>. Before that, I was a Research Scientist at&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucd.ie\/\">University College Dublin<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucd.ie\/mathstat\/\">School of Mathematics and Statistics<\/a>, working in the group of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/maths.ucd.ie\/~noconnell\/index.html\">Neil O&#8217;Connell<\/a>&nbsp;within the&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.maths.ucd.ie\/~noconnell\/intranst.html\">ERC project&nbsp;<em>Integrable Random Structures<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hold a PhD in Statistics from the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/warwick.ac.uk\/\">University of Warwick<\/a>, where I wrote&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/wrap.warwick.ac.uk\/121448\/\">my thesis<\/a>&nbsp;under the supervision of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/warwick.ac.uk\/fac\/sci\/maths\/people\/staff\/zygouras\/\">Nikos Zygouras<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>My current research interests lie in probability theory, in particular discrete random structures, integrable probability, and random matrices, their connections with combinatorics and their applications to statistical physics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am currently the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.unifi.it\/en\/university\/around-world\/erasmus-and-international-mobility\">Erasmus+ and International Mobility<\/a> Programmes Coordinator for the BSc and MSc in Mathematics of the University of Florence.
